Who will start for Luton Town against Aston Villa?

It's time for the very first Sunday league showdown of the year, and we're squaring off against the high-scoring, free-flowing force of Aston Villa. Brace yourself for a difficult match where we'll be crossing our fingers for a positive outcome, even if the odds are stacked against us.

Injury news: Andersen, Bell, Burke, Clark, Lokonga, Potts.

Short and to the point Thomas Kaminski starts in goal. He's been mightily impressive in recent fixtures and is the clear No. 1.

We aren't coming into this fixture with the richest of choices in centre back with four missing through injury. In turn, we believe a back four of Kabore (RB), Mengi (RCB), Lockyer (LCB) and Doughty (LB) will start the fixture. Of course, this brings some sense of unease as this back four have not started together, following on from a shaky defensive performance away at Forest.

The two central midfielders don't change with Pelly (DM) and Nakamba (DM) partnering each other once again, the latter has been excellent this season. Both will need to be on top form however in this game. Ahead of these two coming in for his first start since West Ham is Ross Barkley (AM). The scouser had an impressive cameo against Forest, dictating play and looking as fit as he has been.

The front three remain unchanged with Brown (RW), Morris (ST), and Ogbene (LW). Elijah finds himself unlucky to miss out and this is simply due to the injury to Burke. Brown is more competent defensively and can help out Issa at RB, but don't be surprised to see him make a game-changing impact off the bench. The inclusion of Morris and Ogbene is a given if fit.
