Who will start for Luton Town against Manchester City?

Date: Sunday 10th December 2023

Kick-off: 2pM (GMT)

Venue: Kenilworth Road

Welcome to this week's Oak Road Hatter lineup prediction. After a heartbreaking, last-gasp defeat to Arsenal on Tuesday, the challenges do not come any easier as this Sunday we welcome the current Premier League and European Champions, Manchester City. Us Hatters can come into this with the hope that we can take on the Cityzens and go that one step further, securing a point, or three.

Team News and Oak Road Hatters Predicted XI:

Ruled out for the game: Andersen (hamstring), Burke (hamstring), Potts (ankle), Woodrow (calf).

As ever, Thomas Kaminski keeps his place.

We make one change in the backline with the captain Tom Lockyer (CB) coming back in for the ineligible Issa KaboreThe rest of the backline is lined up with Mengi (RCB), Lockyer (CB), Osho (LCB), Bell (LWB), and Doughty (RWB). Moving back to this trio of centre-backs brings a solidity that will certainly be needed in this game. In the past two games, we have conceded six goals - an unsustainable effort that will need to be set right.

In even more positive news, Nakamba (CM) has been declared fit for the match and will join up with the in-form man Ross Barkley (CM) in the middle of the park, a duo that wouldn't look out of place in quite a few Premier League squads.

We opt for a front three of Brown (LW), Adebayo (ST), and Ogbene (RW). Ogbene re-joins the starting XI after a big shift from Andros Townsend in midweek. The other two retain their spots after top performances.

Kaminski, Doughty, Mengi, Lockyer, Osho, Bell, Nakamba, Barkley, Brown, Adebayo, Ogbene.
