Who will start for Luton Town against Wolves?

Date: Saturday 23rd September 2023

Kick-off: 3pm (BST)

Venue: Kenilworth Road

Luton Town welcomes Wolverhampton Wanderers to Kenilworth Road this Saturday in a high-stakes affair for both. Today we'll look into our potential lineup as we strive to outmanoeuvre Wolves and build on our last outing against Fulham with three points. Get ready for a thrilling preview of Oak Road Hatter's lineup.

Team News and Oak Road Hatters Predicted XI:

Injury news: Barkley, Clark, Osho, Potts.

Kaminski will once again keep his place. I think he will feel disappointed with his errors against West Ham and Fulham, but will look to put this behind him and put in a solid showing back on home turf.

The defence lines up the same as Fulham, lining up with Burke (RCB), Lockyer (CB) and Andersen (LCB). Despite the loss, the defence looked as sturdy as it ever has, nullifying Fulham to very little and as such all three retain their place. We have a change in the wing-back areas with Doughty (LWB) replacing Bell. Even with the move out to LWB instead of LCB, Bell still did not seem like his usual self, offering limited support in the forward areas and missing a guilt edge chance. Kabore (RWB) retains his place after a hugely impressive performance last time out, creating a game-high three chances and two big chances.

The midfield trio of Nakamba (DM), Lokonga (CM) and Chong (CM) stay together as well. The club confirmed that Barkley will miss the game and he is likely the only player he would be pushing Lokonga or Chong for a starting position with Clark still out.

There was some disagreement amongst the front two but we think Morris will start alongside Brown. We as supporters are all aware of Edward's fondness for Adebayo, and at home, it is very much a 50/50 decision but after his great performance at Craven Cottage, we think he will keep his place.

Starting XI: Kaminski, Kabore, Burke, Lockyer, Andersen, Doughty, Nakamba, Lokonga, Chong, Morris, Brown.
