Bristol City and Swansea City table bids for Luton Town striker Harry Cornick

Luton Town's Harry Cornick is the subject of bids from Championship rivals Bristol City and Swansea City late on in this January transfer window.

As detailed in a report from Football Insider, the 27-year-old is being considered by the Robins and the Swans as they prepare to lose Antoine Semenyo and Michael Obafemi respectively.

A report last night from Bristol Live revealed that the pacey forward was on Nigel Pearson's radar and it appears that Luton's resolve will be tested.

Netting 12 Championship goals last time out at Kenilworth Road, the 2017 signing’s game time has been restricted this time around because of the additions of Cauley Woodrow and Carlton Morris.

The Hatters arguably have one of, if not the best striking departments in the division, when it comes to depth and it is clear that the 27-year-old will have a part to play in what remains of this campaign if he was to remain in Bedfordshire.

However, with Semenyo and Obafemi leaving Bristol City and Swansea, he would seemingly be in closer proximity in gaining regular minutes away from Kenilworth Road.

Netting 38 times and providing a further 31 assists in over 200 appearances for the Hatters, he has certainly been a fantastic servant to the club and has managed to adapt to Championship football very well.

With rumours linking Cameron Jerome to a League One move, there could be plenty of frontline activity before the window slams shut, something that most Town fans would not have anticipated a few days ago.
