Daiki Hashioka (24) - Sint-Truiden defender
Luton are in talks over a permanent deal to sign Japan international Daiki Hashioka ahead of this week’s January transfer deadline. The 24yr-old has been playing at Sint-Truiden in the Belgium Pro League for three years. Deal to be worth approx €2million.

The Hatters have made their first signing of the January transfer window with the acquisition of Tom Holmes for an undisclosed fee from League One side Reading, who will retain the defender’s services on loan for the remainder of this season.

Oscar Zambrano (19) - LDU Quito / Ecuadorian U20 midfielder
Luton Town have agreed a fee of £5.5m. Zambrano himself wants 15% of the fee, but LDU Quito want him to waive that. According to Nixon, Luton have brought in an agency to get negotiations over this issue.

Luton boss Rob Edwards has denied once more that Hatters have made a bid for young Ecuadorian midfielder Oscar Zambrano during the current January transfer window.

Matt O’Riley (23) - Celtic / Denmark midfielder
Luton Town hold interest in the Hounslow-born 23 y/o. He represents Denmark on the international stage and the Hatters are reportedly long-term admirers, although Inter Milan are also keen.

Japhet Tanganga (24) - Tottenham defender
The reported summer transfer target is a player that is still under consideration at Luton Town. Currently on loan at Bundesliga outfit Augsburg, he is yet to feature for the German club because of a knee injury with Spurs now weighing up his future.

Ryan Giles (23)
Hull City are leading Leeds United and Cardiff City in the charge for Luton Town defender Ryan Giles this month. Luton are reluctant to let Giles leave as Edwards does not want to weaken his squad amid the battle against relegation. Although, his departure could free up space and money for new additions for the Hatters.

Joe Taylor (21) - Recalled from loan at Colchester
The U’s were desperate to keep Joe Taylor but there was League One interest from four clubs and Luton Town have reportedly made the decision to take him back. It seems like Joe will be stepping up a level after scoring 12 goals in 26 matches for a struggling Colchester side.

Luton Town are looking into recalling Louie Watson from his loan at Charlton Athletic. Its understood that the Hatters could cut short his stay due to his lack of game time recently.

Premier League rivals Fulham and Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on the Luton Town defender.

Teden Mengi has caught the attention of Fulham's recruitment staff, but prying him away from Luton may prove challenging. The Hatters are reportedly hesitant to part ways with Mengi unless they secure an immediate replacement for the England U21 International.

A back injury sadly meant midfielder Thorpe was restricted to just two appearances with League One Shrewsbury Town, while forward Pepple appeared six times for Bromley in the National League.
Hatters winger Fred Onyedinma has returned to Kenilworth Road following his loan spell at Championship club Rotherham United. The 27-year-old joined the Millers in the summer and made 19 appearances in all competitions, finding the net twice in Rotherham colours in Sky Bet Championship
